Continuing on with Chapter 6: Stillness...
Emotion will emanate from your perspective.
Funny story: last night at the Allstar Weekend concert, one of the guys threw a guitar pick and it rebounded off the audience and fell into the photo pit. I didn't see this happen because I was too busy shooting... there were no other photographers at the show, so I had the ginormous space all to myself. Believe me, I took full advantage of the solitude!! I used the time to get some very pretty pictures, and also to play around with every one of my camera settings -- which I have never done before because I haven't had the courage to experiment. I'm too afraid of failing.
Anywho, when the first three songs were over and I had to leave the front pit, some of the girls caught my attention and asked me to give them the pick. So I picked it up and I walked away, keeping the pick for myself. *teehee* I may have crushed their hearts, but I wanted it! This is the first piece of physical evidence I have of being in the photo pit. AND I LOVE ALLSTAR WEEKEND!
It's my trophy of excellence.
I don't always have to be a nice person -- every now and then I allow myself to be selfish and take what I want. I am overly kind 95% of the time... once in a while I am not. I never said I was perfect.
Right now I'm working on editing my pictures, and they should be online tomorrow!! In the meantime, feel free to check out the 1080p HD live video I took during the Allstar Weekend set. Since none of my sisters could come to the show with me, I wanted to record some of their favorite AW songs to share with them :) Aren't I a good sister??!?
Allstar Weekend performed their new song Mr. Wonderful
Later the boys came to center-stage to play Journey To The End Of My Life
The first song of their encore was Hold It Against Me (a Britney Spears cover)
And the final song of the night was Dance Forever
Talk about an excellent show! Those boys are such outstanding performers. Boys with good looks and amazing talents... that's what I like to see!
